Helping A Stranger
Raina nodded and got out. ”Tony’s is a really cool joint. The guy who owns it went to school with me.” She led Dean into the little bar and nodded. ”You are more than welcome at my place. I won’t even charge you for a room.” She winked at him before sauntering up to the bar and smiling at the bartender.
Dean chuckled a bit but stopped as they stepped into the bar, he was quiet until the moment they sat down at the bar stools. Leaning over to order a whiskey, he murmured, “Thanks for the invite. It’ll be better then tryin’ to get a room for the night… and it beats sleepin’ in the Impala.”
Raina smiles over at Dean and motioned for the bartender to leave the bottle and line her up a couple of glasses. ”It’s the least I can do. You wouldn’t let me pay you. I gotta find ways to pay you back.” She smiled and poured a shot of whiskey and tilted it back quickly. ”Wow.” She shook her head and looked at Dean.
